Behavioral Health Coach (Remote, Equatorial Guinea)

About the role

You will join Intellect’s telehealth platform as a freelance Behavioral Health Coach, delivering 30‑minute video sessions to support clients’ mental health and personal growth. The role is remote with flexible business hours, and local candidates are preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1‑on‑1 telehealth coaching for sub‑clinical issues such as work stress, procrastination, and work‑life balance.
• Help clients set personal, career, or relationship goals and track progress.
• Collaborate with the internal clinical team to suggest improvements to the program and platform.

Required profile

• Active International Coaching Federation (ICF) certification OR a Master/Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling.
• ICF coaches: minimum 200 coaching hours; counsellors: minimum 300 clinical hours post‑graduation.
• Proficiency in English and the local language.
• Prior experience in EAP, adult counselling, or managerial coaching is preferred.

Required skills

• Coaching techniques and evidence‑based approaches (e.g., Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, Solution‑Focused Brief Therapy).
• Strong ability to conduct video‑based sessions and maintain client confidentiality.
